Bishkek, Sept. 14, 2026 /Kabar/. The Report on Turkic Economies 2025: Green Economy Transition, prepared by the Turkic Academy in cooperation with the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) has been published.

The report brings together the contributions of researchers and institutions from across the OTS Member States and Observers through the Turkic Economic Policy Research Centers Network (ERCNET). It examines how Turkic economies are responding to the global transition toward greener and more sustainable economic models.

Covering a wide range of issues, the report analyzes economic and social conditions, energy systems, green competitiveness, trade exposure, financing needs, environmental pressures, and institutional capacity. Its country-specific chapters review national policies, recent developments, and the key challenges facing each economy.

The report also highlights both the diversity of national approaches and the shared challenges confronting the Turkic world in advancing sustainable development, strengthening climate resilience, and supporting a green economic transition.

The publication represents an important contribution to regional knowledge-sharing, evidence-based policymaking, and closer cooperation among the countries of the Turkic world.
