RKDF to increase capital up to $1 billion by 2030

Bishkek, Aug 6, 2026. /Kabar/. The capital of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund (RKDF) is planned to double to $1 billion by 2030, Artem Novikov, Chairman of the Fund's Board informs at the Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Forum.

According to him, the first practical steps in this direction will be taken during the forum.

"We plan to sign a corresponding agreement with the Eurasian Development Bank to attract financing in the amount of approximately $50 million," Novikov said.

He also noted that last year, RKDF invested $135 million in the Kyrgyz economy, and this year, this figure has already approached $300 million. The total financing provided by the fund since its operations has reached nearly $1.5 billion. All of these funds are aimed at strengthening and developing the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
