Bishkek, Oct. 9 /Kabar/. On October 8, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov visited the Festival of National Dishes of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, currently taking place in Avaza. Presidential administration reports.
Together with the presidents of Kazakhstan (Kassym-Jomart Tokayev), Tajikistan (Emomali Rahmon), Turkmenistan (Serdar Berdimuhamedov), Uzbekistan (Shavkat Mirziyoyev), Azerbaijan (Ilham Aliyev), and Belarus (Alexander Lukashenko), as well as the Prime Minister of Armenia (Nikol Pashinyan), the head of state explored the national cuisines, traditions, and cultural heritage of the Commonwealth nations.
Dishes, national costumes, and musical performances representing Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan were presented to the leaders.
