Bishkek, March 13, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov commented on the situation in Middle East.
"We are deeply concerned about the escalation of tensions in the Middle East and its negative impact on fraternal Arab countries.
It is extremely regrettable that the conflict is occurring during the holy month of Orozo (Ramadan) a period of spiritual cleansing, charity, forgiveness, and mutual respect.
We share the irreparable pain and grief of loss with the peoples of the region over the numerous civilian casualties. We condemn any actions that lead to such a catastrophe.
Kyrgyz Republic, in accordance with the UN Charter and the universally recognized principles of international law, advocates for the unification of the international community's efforts to peacefully resolve the situation in the region.
We also call on the parties to exercise restraint, immediately cease hostilities, and take all possible measures to promptly return to constructive dialogue with the goal of resolving the situation exclusively by peaceful means," the president wrote.
