Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's gold and foreign exchange reserves reached $8.5 billion this year, President Sadyr Zhaparov spoke at Jogorku Kenesh.
According to the president, in 2020, the country's gold and foreign exchange reserves amounted to just over $2 billion.
"Now they have reached $8.5 billion. Thus, in a short period of time, we have managed to increase our reserves by more than $6 billion. We have elevated the country's foreign policy relations to a qualitatively new, high level," the head of state noted.
