Bishkek, Jan. 21, 2026. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov met today, January 21, with representatives of the country's light industry.
The event was attended by representatives of the country's clothing industry, marketplaces, logistics companies, state and commercial banks, as well as heads of relevant state bodies.
The meeting discussed current problematic issues in the development of the industry, made proposals for their solution, and held a discussion.
President emphasized that light industry is one of the priority areas of state policy.
As a result of the discussion, President Sadyr Zhaparov gave a number of specific tasks to the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev, as well as relevant ministers and heads of state bodies, aimed at solving current problems and further developing the industry.
