Bishkek, May 23, 2025. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received Chairman of the Board of the Federation of Saudi Arabian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Hassan Moazheb Al-Khuwaizi and representatives of the kingdom's leading companies.
The press service of the head of state said that, during the meeting, issues of investment cooperation, strengthening trade and economic ties and expanding bilateral cooperation were discussed.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Saudi delegation, headed by the chairman of the chambers of commerce and industry, had the opportunity to establish constructive ties with Kyrgyz entrepreneurs within the framework of the second meeting of the Kyrgyz-Saudi Business Council, held on May 21 in Bishkek.
The president spoke about the large-scale reforms carried out in Kyrgyzstan and the implementation of major infrastructure projects, focusing on efforts to create a favorable investment climate. He noted that the country has adopted legislative measures to protect the rights of investors and ensure comfortable conditions for doing business.
President Sadyr Zhaparov outlined priority areas for potential cooperation, including energy, tourism, real estate, the banking sector, logistics, digitalization and the export of agricultural products.
Chairman of the Board of the Federation of Saudi Arabian Chambers of Commerce and Industry Hassan Moazheb Al-Khuwaizi noted that Kyrgyzstan is an attractive and largely unexplored region with great potential for promising investment projects. He also expressed interest in expanding bilateral cooperation and confirmed his readiness for active and constructive interaction in implementing joint projects in various fields.
