Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2025. /Kabar/. A meeting with representatives of the Saudi Fund for Development was held today at the Ministry of Construction.
The discussion was attended by Minister of Construction Nurdan Oruntaev, Mayor of the capital Aibek Dzhunushaliev and Governor of the Chui region Kanat Dzhumagaziev, the ministry said.
The meeting discussed issues related to the start of the implementation of the second stage of the preparation of the project for the construction of public schools. Representatives of the Saudi Fund for Development positively assessed the progress of the preparations and expressed support for the further implementation of the project.
As part of Phase 2, financed by the Saudi Fund for Development, it is planned to build five new schools and seven additional buildings in Bishkek, and two new schools in the Chui region.
This project is an important step in the development of educational infrastructure and the creation of modern conditions for schoolchildren to learn.
Recall that as part of Phase 1, 28 schools and 2 kindergartens were built throughout the republic.
