Bishkek, Feb. 4, 2026. /Kabar/. United States reaffirms its support for business and peace in Central Asia, US Special Envoy for South and Central Asian Affairs, Ambassador Sergio Gor said at the V5+1 forum.

He noted that US President Donald Trump wishes peace and prosperity to all Central Asian countries in developing trade.

"Since the historic summit organized by President Trump for Armenia and Azerbaijan, we have been continuing the so-called Trump route – a corridor of prosperity and peace, which will facilitate the connection of Central Asia and the South Caucasus and further to the West and East. This is a historic step in our work – building interconnected economies and maintaining peace in this region," he said.

He emphasized that Trump hosted a historic summit in Central Asia in Washington on November 6, 2025.

"The message and the main idea is that this is not a one-time or one-off meeting. At these events, Trump said he wanted to spend several days with the Central Asian presidents. He wanted to work diligently with them and include them in many areas of the US global agenda. This was exemplified by the fact that some of these countries' leaders joined the Peace Council. Some of these countries were invited to the G20 agenda as observers," Gor stated.

The special envoy reported that this is an incredible level of cooperation with Central Asia, unprecedented before.

"The United States will support business. We will support peace and strengthen our relations with all partners around the world. The B5+1 forum is a logical continuation of the C5+1. More than 20 deals worth over $40 billion have been concluded," he added.
