According to him, the diplomatic mission maintains contact with every citizen, including students and pilgrims who have arrived to perform Umrah. "A special headquarters has been established to work with pilgrims. Operational measures are being carried out jointly with the Muftiate, the State Agency for Religious Affairs, and travel companies," the ambassador said.
He also noted that 35 Kyrgyz citizens in Bahrain have requested assistance. They are in 24/7 contact. Measures to provide them with the necessary assistance have been prepared should the situation change or a security threat arise.
"Regarding flights, airports in Saudi Arabia are operating relatively reliably, while they are closed in many neighboring countries. Domestic flights in Saudi Arabia are operating normally, and local airlines continue to fly internationally. However, the number of international flights has decreased," Maripov said.
