Bishkek, Oct. 9, 2026 /Kabar/. Approximately 9.3 billion soms are paid out to pensioners each month. Zhenish Mukambetov, Head of the Public Relations Department at the Social Fund told Kabar.
According to him, approximately 85 billion soms were spent on pension payments between January and September of this year.
"While this figure might not seem particularly large, it actually represents a very substantial amount of money. The majority of these funds are generated through insurance contributions from citizens working in various sectors.
Additionally, payments are made using funds from the republican budget," he noted.
