Bishkek, Aug. 10, 2026. /Kabar/. Eurasian Development Bank and State Development Bank of Kyrgyz Republic signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation. The parties intend to combine their expertise and capabilities to prepare and implement projects that promote economic modernization, infrastructure development, entrepreneurship support, and investment attraction.
The document was signed by Emil Takyrbashev, Chairman of the Management Board of the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Alexey Skatin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank.
As Alexey Skatin, Deputy Head of the EDB, noted, cooperation between the financial institutions is aimed at expanding access to long-term financing, which can be channeled into priority sectors of the Kyrgyz economy. "Cooperation with national development institutions is one of the key areas of the EDB's work. The memorandum creates the basis for the joint development and implementation of projects that promote sustainable economic growth, attract investment, and improve quality of life," Alexey Skatin explained.
