Bishkek, Sept. 14, 2026 /Kabar/. Starting September 15, 2026, citizens of Kyrgyzstan will be able to enter Thailand visa-free for tourism purposes for up to 30 days, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to the ministry, visa-free entry is permitted with a valid Kyrgyz passport. Kyrgyz citizens entering Thailand by air or land will be able to use the visa-free travel regime no more than twice per calendar year.
Each entry into Thailand is subject to mandatory immigration control. Visa-free entry does not automatically guarantee admission to the country. The final decision on entry is made by the competent Thai immigration authorities.
Before traveling, citizens must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) through Thailand's official online service (https://tdac.immigration.go.th/arrival-card/#/home).
Upon entering the Kingdom of Thailand, citizens must have the following:
- A valid Kyrgyz Republic passport valid for at least six months on the date of entry, with two (blank) pages without stamps or visas;
- Confirmation of return or onward travel from the country (a return ticket or an onward ticket to a third country);
- Information about accommodation in Thailand (e.g., hotel reservations, etc.);
Citizens of Kyrgyzstan planning to enter the Kingdom of Thailand for purposes other than tourism, or intending to stay in the country beyond the established 30-day period, must obtain an appropriate visa in advance in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Kingdom of Thailand.
