Bishkek, Dec. 12, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Ambassador to Türkiye Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the Chairman of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) Gursel Baran.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and future directions of Kyrgyz-Turkish trade and economic cooperation, emphasizing its stable positive dynamics.
According to TÜİK, in the first nine months of 2025, trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $ 1.2 billion.
Ambassador Kazakbaev noted the need to intensify efforts to promote Kyrgyz organic products to major Turkish retail chains and expand interaction in the agricultural sector.
He also invited Gursel Baran to visit Kyrgyzstan, and the Chairman of the ATO expressed his readiness to organize a visit in 2026.
Then, expanded event was held for representatives of the Turkish business community with the support of the EkoAvrasya Foundation. The event was attended by about 40 businessmen, led by the chairman of the fund, Hikmet Eren.
During the event, the ambassador presented investment and economic opportunities in Kyrgyzstan, providing detailed information about the liberal tax regime, broad investment preferences, open conditions for entrepreneurship, and opportunities for entering the EAEU market. He noted that in the first six months of 2025, the volume of direct investment from Türkiye approached $100 million, which indicates the high level of confidence of Turkish business in Kyrgyzstan.
Particular attention was paid to cooperation opportunities in such areas as renewable energy, industry, logistics, agriculture, and tourism.
In conclusion, Kazakbaev invited Ankara's business circles to pay a working visit to Kyrgyzstan and emphasized his readiness to provide comprehensive support during the visit.
