Issyk-Kul, Sept. 3, 2026 /Kabar/. Foreign guests visiting the Kyrchyn ethnocultural village as part of the VI World Nomad Games are showing great interest in the national cuisine and traditional dishes of Kyrgyzstan. Chef Syrgak Beishekeev told Kabar.
He said that prices at the ethnocultural village remain affordable, and foreign visitors enjoy trying the national dishes.
"An hour ago, we had two French women; they ate plov. We welcome everyone and invite them, and they are very happy and enjoy the food," he said.
Syrgak Beishekeev noted that foreign guests especially enjoy Kyrgyzstan's meat cuisine and the natural ingredients used.
"Foreigners come and try our dishes, and they really like it. "They especially appreciate the meat cuisine and the fact that our ingredients are natural," the chef said.
He also emphasized the growing interest of foreign tourists in outdoor recreation. According to him, many foreigners are looking to get away from the urban environment and spend more time in nature, which is why ecotourism is becoming especially popular.
"I recently went on a tour with foreigners and noticed that they are really drawn to this type of vacation right now—the opportunity to escape the urban environment and immerse themselves in nature," Beishekeev added.
