Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2025. /Kabar/. On December 22, Speaker Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu held a meeting with the heads of the parliamentary staff and heads of departments.
As reported by the parliament, the meeting was also attended by deputy speakers Chingiz Azhibaev, Zhyldyz Taalaibek kyzy and Karim Khandzheza.
First, Speaker set requirement for the newly appointed heads to conduct the work of the VIII convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh in new direction and under new conditions: “The work of the parliament directly depends on the service of the staff. Therefore, each department must understand the responsibility assigned and clearly fulfill the assigned tasks,” he said.
Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu also touched upon the need to strengthen the work of sectoral committees: “To increase the efficiency of work, discussions on draft laws should take place in sectoral committees, not in large meetings. Only when deputies submit their proposals at committee meetings, and laws are fully drafted and developed there, the quality of work will improve. Therefore, it is essential that the departments of the committees prepare the relevant documents in a high-quality and timely manner,” he said.
