Bishkek, Aug. 31, 2026. /Kabar/. Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a working visit.
Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev met the president.
Vladimir Putin arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the next meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the SCO member states, a high-level meeting in the “SCO Plus” format, and the grand opening ceremony of the VI World Nomad Games.
The Russian president received a soft toy of a snow leopard, the national symbol of Kyrgyzstan and the official symbol of the VI World Nomad Games.
Kyrgyzstan will chair the SCO in 2026. A summit marking the 25th anniversary of the organization’s establishment will be held in Bishkek.
