Ways to further develop Kyrgyz-Bangladesh relations discussed in Bishkek

Bishkek, Feb. 7, 2025 /Kabar/. Today, Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Temirbek Erkinov met in Bishkek with Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Kyrgyzstan with residence in Tashkent, Dr. Mohammad Monirul Islam.

During the meeting, the sides discussed ways to further develop Kyrgyz-Bangladesh relations in the political, trade and economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as improving the bilateral legal framework.

Particular attention was paid to such industries as the textile and pharmaceutical industries, where the parties agreed to continue cooperation, including the exchange of experience and advisory assistance.

Mutually beneficial projects in various fields, holding regular ministerial political consultations and continuing interaction within the framework of international organizations were also discussed.

At the end of the meeting, both sides confirmed their interest in deepening bilateral cooperation, including through industry ministries and business circles of the two countries.
