Bishkek, Oct. 3, 2025. /Kabar/. Parliamentary elections will take place soon in Kyrgyzstan.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan Kamchybek Tashiev said in an interview with local media that the vote will be conducted fairly and transparently, stressing that attempts by certain candidates to exploit the government’s name for political gain are unacceptable.

Tashiev noted that some prospective candidates have publicly claimed to have received government “support” or “blessing,” sparking debate among citizens. He underlined that such practices are now a thing of the past.

“Let me say this clearly: do not believe such statements. We will not repeat the mistakes of previous administrations that gave so-called ‘blessings.’ Those approaches led to revolutions and regime changes. We cannot afford that anymore. We have done enormous work to ensure fair elections, digitalized the process, and minimized the human factor. For us, the interests of voters come first,” he said.

According to Tashiev, election oversight will be tightened, and any violations will be dealt with firmly.

The early elections for the Jogorku Kenesh will be held on November 30, 2025. A total of 90 deputies will be elected for a five-year term under a majoritarian system from 30 multi-member constituencies. In each district, three mandates will be distributed, with voters able to cast their ballot for only one candidate.
