Wildberries to pay compensation to affected sellers in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 29, 2026 /Kabar/. The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan held a meeting with Wildberries representatives, associations of the clothing and light industry, sellers, and carriers.

According to the relevant department, the following issues were discussed at the meeting:

  • compensation payments for damaged goods in warehouses in Russia;
  • restoration of logistics processes;
  • support measures for sellers;
  • further development of e-commerce in Kyrgyzstan.

The coordination center was established to promptly process appeals, the company, together with industry associations. It will coordinate work on compensation, payments, the removal of damaged goods, and support for affected sellers.

The department notes that additional government support measures are being developed for domestic entrepreneurs, including those in the garment industry. These measures are aimed at reducing the financial burden, preserving jobs, and maintaining production and export potential.

Wildberries representatives noted that Kyrgyzstan remains a priority market for them, and all business processes are operating as usual. They also announced the start of the first partial compensation payments to affected sellers.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working together and maintain an ongoing dialogue to promptly resolve emerging issues.
