"We came from America to participate in the Nomad Games. The archery finals are taking place today. Four of our archers are participating. The Games are very intense." About three years ago, we created an archery federation in Chicago, gathered archers, and then spread this movement to other states, working to develop Kyrgyz and Turkish archery. Now the number of archers has increased; you could say they're present in almost every state.
We hold the Yntymak Cup every year on August 31st. This year, a major archery tournament was held in Chicago. There are also a lot of archers at the Nomad Games. "By coming here, we, first of all, gained a lot of experience. We met archers, judges, and coaches from many countries. This was very fruitful for us," he noted.
He also praised the Nomad Games.
"The Nomad Games are very good, organized at a high level. We see that the level has improved significantly and everything is excellently organized. God willing, such events will be held more often in Kyrgyzstan. Organizing such large-scale events will be a significant contribution to the development of tourism." "I hope that even more tourists will come next time," the coach said.
He also spoke about the changes in Bishkek and Issyk-Kul.
"Construction is actively underway in Bishkek, and the city is changing for the better. We participated in the opening of the World Nomad Games. The arena was built to a high standard.
The number of construction sites and resorts has also increased in Issyk-Kul. Overall, we have witnessed the work being done here to develop tourism. Kyrgyzstan is changing a lot," added Aibek Karmysh uulu.
