Bishkek, Dec.17, 2025. /Kabar/. State flag-raising ceremony was held in Batken today, according to the regional representative office.
The event was attended by Aibek Shamenov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Batken oblast, Seitek Kulubaev, city mayor, department heads, and local residents.
In his speech, the regional head congratulated the city residents, noting that the flag-raising ceremony of the Kyrgyz Republic is a symbol of our sovereignty and faith in the future. He calls on every Kyrgyzstani to love their homeland and to be responsible.
The installation of the 35-meter flagpole and the development of the surrounding infrastructure were part of the reconstruction project for the Zhashtyk and Zhenish recreation parks. The work was carried out by the ARIS organization under the "Regional Economic Development of the Batken oblast" program.
