Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2025. /Kabar/. On October 7, Azerbaijan hosted the U17 Greco-Roman wrestling competition as part of the 3rd CIS Games. According to the Kyrgyz state agency on sports, the competition took place at the Olympic Sports Complex.
Five wrestlers represented Kyrgyzstan. In the 55 kg weight class, Ramazan Gasanov took second place and won a silver medal. Elimbek Abdykerimov (48 kg), Beknazar Emilbekov (51 kg), and Ilichbek Abdullayev (65 kg) won bronze. In total, the Kyrgyz Greco-Roman wrestling team won four medals.
