Bishkek, May 4, 2025. /Kabar/. The 58th Annual Meeting of Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has started its work in Milan, Italy on May 4.
The overall theme is “Sharing Experience, Building Tomorrow” and it will revolve around four focus areas: digital transformation, frontiers of green transition, innovation for adaptation, and food security.
The Annual Meeting is the premier forum for discussing economic and development issues affecting Asia and the Pacific.
The ADB senior management and experts, policy makers, representatives from the private sector, and the region’s leading development thinkers will take part in the meeting.
Public sessions, press conferences, and key events will be organized by ADB and the Government of Italy, the host country.
The Asian Development Bank has 69 members, including 49 regional members from Asia and the Pacific, such as India, China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and many others, and 20 non-regional members from Europe, North America, and other regions.
