Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2025 /Kabar/. Acting Minister of Health Kanybek Dosmambetov made an unscheduled visit to the pediatric oncology department at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health in Bishkek. During the visit, he met with parents of children with cancer, where he discussed in detail the most pressing and systemic issues.
Following the visit, Dosmambetov gave specific instructions to the management of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health and relevant departments of the Ministry of Health.
Kabar News Agency highlighted the following tasks for the management of the institutions:
- improving laboratory services and ensuring the availability of necessary tests;
- creating a special commission for comprehensive assessment of the activities of the Department of Medicines and the State Enterprise Kyrgyzpharmacy;
- improving blood component logistics;
- allocating specialized vehicle for transporting blood components and the department's medical needs;
- strengthening quality control of medicines and streamlining procurement processes;
- addressing nutritional needs for parents of children with cancer and creating the necessary living conditions for their stay;
- purchasing children's tables;
- establishing pharmacy on the hospital grounds;
- strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration among physicians and holding regular consultations;
Developing project to build specialized boarding house for temporary accommodation for parents of children with cancer from the regions.
