Bishkek, March 5, 2025. /Kabar/. As part of a one-day working visit to Tajikistan, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev visited the Rogun Hydro Power Plant (HPP).

The Cabinet of Ministers reported that Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda personally conducted a tour for the head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, during which Adylbek Kasymaliev got acquainted with the progress of construction, the scale of the largest hydropower project in Central Asia, as well as with information on the current state of affairs, technical characteristics of the station and its role in ensuring energy security in the region, presented by the management of the HPP.

Particular attention was paid to studying the experience of building a hydropower facility in the context of the implementation of the Kambarata HPP-1 construction project in Kyrgyzstan.

"The experience gained during the construction of the Rogun HPP is of great value to us. “The study of the technologies and methods used here will certainly help us in the successful implementation of the Kambarata HPP-1 project, which is of strategic importance for the energy security of our country and the entire region,” concluded Adylbek Kasymaliev.
