Bishkek, Aug. 31, 2026. /Kabar/. Tajik President Emomali Rahmon arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a working visit.
He was met at Manas International Airport by Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Chief of the Presidential Administration.
Emomali Rahmon arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the regular meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council, the "SCO Plus" summit, and the opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan was presented with a stuffed toy of a snow leopard, the national symbol of Kyrgyzstan and the official symbol of the 6th World Nomad Games.
Kyrgyzstan will chair the SCO in 2026. This year, Bishkek will host a commemorative summit dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the organization's founding.
