Bishkek, March 16, 2026. /Kabar/. Ala-Too Resort employees are undergoing practical training at the Manzherok ski resort in the Altai Republic.
According to the company, the training is part of staff development for the future all-season mountain resort, which will become one of the largest tourism projects in Central Asia.
It is noted that this is the second time that snowcat operators have been sent to the resort to gain practical experience operating specialized equipment and ski slope preparation technologies. During the training, specialists learn how to operate snowcats – tracked vehicles designed to create high-quality snow cover.
The company emphasized that, despite the presence of ski resorts in Kyrgyzstan's mountainous regions, small-scale equipment was previously used to groom the slopes.
The Ala-Too Resort project will be the first in the country to utilize modern snowcat equipment, similar to that used at leading global resorts.
Collaboration between Ala-Too Resort and Manzherok Resort became possible through agreements reached in 2025. Last October, the first specialists completed theoretical training in snowcat operation, and the next stage of training includes practical work directly on the ski slopes.
The acquired knowledge and skills are planned to be applied in grooming the slopes of the future Ala-Too Resort, ensuring a high level of safety and quality of ski infrastructure.
