Bishkek, Nov. 11, 2025 /Kabar/. Starting December 5, 2025, Asman Airlines will launch regular direct flights from Almaty to Karakol International Airport, according to Airports of Kyrgyzstan JSC.
Flights will operate twice a week: Fridays and Sundays at 11:35 a.m. outbound and 12:35 p.m. return. Ticket prices start at 6,500 soms. The resumption of this route marks an important stage in the development of regional transportation: air service between Almaty and Karakol previously existed in the 2010s, but there have been no stable regular flights since the 1970s.
Key advantages of the route:
- Direct flights offer fast and convenient travel: travel time is 35 minutes.
- Two weekly departures provide flexibility in vacation planning, from short trips to full-length holidays.
The new flight is targeted at active travelers, primarily travelers from Kazakhstan who choose Karakol as one of the region's most popular ski destinations. Passengers can arrange their entire flight without visiting ticket offices or making phone calls. Tickets can be purchased online at www.asmanairlines.kg or through the Asman Airlines mobile app.
