Bishkek, March 27, 2025. /Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev presented his credentials to President of North Macedonia Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova at the Vila Vodno presidential palace in Skopje on March 26.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that during the ceremony, Ambassador Kazakbaev conveyed condolences to President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova in connection with the numerous victims of the fire in the city of Kochani on March 16, 2025 on behalf of President Sadyr Zhaparov and the people of Kyrgyzstan.
During the bilateral meeting, which took place after the ceremony of presenting credentials, issues of activating and expanding bilateral political, inter-parliamentary, trade and economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and North Macedonia, as well as issues of interaction between the countries on international platforms were discussed.
Kazakbaev informed the head of North Macedonia in detail about the political and economic reforms carried out by the leadership of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as about regional security issues in Central Asia.
Gordana Silyanovska-Davkova expressed a request to convey warm congratulations to President Sadyr Zhaparov and the people of Kyrgyzstan on a historic achievement for the entire Central Asian region - the resolution of the border issue between the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan.
At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Kazakbaev, on behalf of President Sadyr Zhaparov, invited President Gordana Silyanovska-Davkova to visit Kyrgyzstan at a convenient time.
