Bishkek, June 21, 2025. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Erbol Sultanbaev met in Minsk with the Chairperson of the Council of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalia Kochanova.
According to the diplomatic mission, the parties noted the intensification of Kyrgyz-Belarusian interaction in all areas of bilateral cooperation, including in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Ambassador Erbol Sultanbaev emphasized the importance of developing inter-parliamentary ties as an important element of public diplomacy. In this context, it was proposed to consider the possibility of holding a forum of regions of Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.
For her part, the chairperson of the Belarusian Parliament supported the proposal to expand interregional contacts, given that the Council of the Republic is a territorial representative body.
During the meeting, special attention was also paid to the implementation of joint cooperation projects in agriculture and industry.
