Anti-corruption measures in Kyrgyzstan return 959 properties

Bishkek, Feb. 27, 2026 /Kabar/. As a result of the fight against corruption, nearly a thousand properties have been returned to the state, President Sadyr Zhaparov said at national meeting.

According to the president, corruption has long significantly hindered the country's development.

"As a result of anti-corruption measures, 959 properties have been transferred to state and municipal authorities. More than 3,300 hectares of agricultural land have been returned to local authorities.

As a reminder, a national meeting to summarize the results of 2025 is currently taking place at Yntymak Ordo, with the participation of President Sadyr Zhaparov.

Also participating in the event are members of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of government agencies, presidential plenipotentiary representatives in the regions, the mayors of Bishkek and Osh, and district akims.
