Bishkek, Oct. 22, 2025 /Kabar/. The information caravan on child abuse prevention is essential for fostering zero tolerance for violence in society, Asel Chynbaeva, Children's Rights Commissioner told Birinchi Radio.
According to her, the project is informational and educational in nature and is aimed not only at children but also at parents and teachers. As part of the project, we actively worked with local authorities, government agencies, the Bishkek mayor's office, and other administrations, including the Governor of the Issyk-Kul region, to ensure the participation of parents and teachers in each information caravan event. Each group has separate program: psychologists worked with parents, children participated in potential development games, and teachers discussed professional approaches to violence prevention, Chynbaeva noted. She added that the format of the events allows for a collaborative search for solutions.
During the meetings, parents formulated their own proposals for solving problems, children made recommendations to adults, and teachers made recommendations to their students and parents. This allows us to hear different perspectives and develop mutual understanding. Violence has no gender – it is equally unacceptable against both boys and girls, the Commissioner emphasized.
Asel Chynbaeva emphasized that the information caravan has become a platform for open dialogue and preventative work aimed at creating a safe environment for every child.
