Bishkek, Sept. 12, 2025. /Kabar/. As of July 31, 2025, there were 21 commercial banks and 303 branches of commercial banks operating in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the National Bank, the assets of the banking sector have increased by 26.9% since the beginning of the year and reached 1 trillion 34.9 billion soms.
The loan portfolio grew by 26.1%, amounting to 429.6 billion soms.
The volume of deposits increased by 21.1% and reached 717.6 billion soms.
Islamic financing increased significantly by 61% and amounted to 14.5 billion soms.
The National Bank emphasizes that the dynamics of the main indicators shows the active development of the banking system and the strengthening of the country's financial stability.
