Bishkek, Jan. 19, 2026. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Torobaev inspected the alternative road project to Manas International Airport.
According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Minister Absattar Syrgabaev and ministry representatives briefed the participants on the upcoming work, the project's goals, technical features, and implementation stages. The total length of the four-lane road will be 17 km.
The section starting from the intersection of Bishkek's Northern Bypass Road and Molodaya Gvardiya Boulevard will feature a two-level interchange, lighting, and landscaping.
Research and design work is still ongoing.
In addition, construction of a two-lane road and bridge extending 8.7 km from the village of Mramornoye to the village of Vinogradnoye is being considered in Chui Region.
This project is aimed at reducing traffic congestion, improving road safety, upgrading infrastructure, and developing interregional connections.
