Bishkek, Sept. 8, 2026 /Kabar/. The 11th International Theatre Festival of Small Forms, MPULSE, will be held in Bishkek from September 14 to 18.
According to the event's organizers, highly professional and talented dramatic artists from four countries – Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Kazakhstan, and Russia will participate in the upcoming cultural event.
The main goals and objectives of the International Festival are to integrate Kyrgyz theatre into the global arena, foster dialogue among festival participants, initiate the creation of intercultural projects, and introduce audiences to new trends in theatrical art. A roundtable discussion will be held following the festival.
The festival will open on September 14 at 7:00 PM with the play "Oturguttar" based on E. Ionesco's play, directed by the A. Umuraliev Bishkek City Drama Theater.

September 15 at 2:00 PM – M. Kheifets. "To Save the Chamberlain Pushkin" (Temirtau, Kazakhstan).
September 15 at 7:00 PM – Monodrama based on B. Schweiger's play "One Who Knows" (Astana, Kazakhstan). Dina Zhumabaeva's original project, performed by Yulia Dyusebaeva.
September 16 at 2:00 PM – N. Paladiy. "The Life of Poets... Life in Love"... (D. Tanasoglu Gagauz National Theater, Moldova).
September 16 at 7:00 PM – V. Krasnogorov. The romantic drama "Easy Acquaintance" (Chisinau, Moldova). Performed by Evgeny Bognibov and Olga Sofrikova.
September 17 at 2:00 PM – N. Mazur. "Lady Capulet." (State Theater for Young Spectators, Sakha Republic, Yakutia).
September 17 at 7:00 PM – "Chocolate." A one-man show based on the novel by D. Harris. (Vladimir, Russia). Directed by Aleksandr Usov. Performed by Valeria Yemelyanova.
September 18 at 7:00 PM – K. Mitani. "Academy of Laughter." (Vologda, Russia). Directed by Vasily Limonov.
The festival is organized by the A. Umuraliev Bishkek City Drama Theater with the support of the Bishkek City Hall.
