Bishkek, Feb. 7, 2025 /Kabar/. The XX International Jazz Festival "Jazz Bishkek Spring" will be held in Bishkek on April 25-26, the organizers reported.
The jazz festival "Jazz_Bishkek_Spring" is an anticipated calendar event of spring.
The festival's motto is Music without borders. Its mission is to build bridges for friendship and understanding between peoples through cultural cooperation. Jazz is the music of free and creative people, the report said.
Since 2018, "Jazz_Bishkek_Spring" has been included in the program of festivals dedicated to UNESCO International Jazz Day (April 30). Thanks to the 19 jazz festivals held, it was possible to introduce Kyrgyzstanis to the peculiarities of perception and interpretation of jazz by 176 groups from 23 countries: Austria, Belarus, Hungary, Germany, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, the USA, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkiye, Uzbekistan, France, Switzerland, Estonia, Japan, Portugal, Korea, Spain.
The XX festival "Jazz_Bishkek_Spring" will be held on April 25-26, including the After party (date and place will be announced additionally) is planned at different venues. Applications for participation in the festival were submitted by groups from France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Japan and Kyrgyzstan.
The festival concerts will be held at Novotel Bishkek. The beginning is at 18.00. The program may be changed.
The location of the master classes will be specified. The entrance is free.
The festival’s organizer is Terra Public Foundation and Central Asia – Art Management Foundation.
