Bishkek, Nov. 10, 2025. /Kabar/. Using funds outside the election fund during the campaign will inevitably entail legal consequences for candidates, Central Election Commission member Uzarbek Zhylkybayev told on Birinchi Radio.
According to him, any financial transactions in favor of candidate must strictly correspond to the declared amount of their election fund.
"If funds outside the election fund are used during a campaign for candidate, this will lead to certain problems. That is, if candidate declares a fund of 1 million soms and has already spent these funds, and if even 5,000 soms were used outside the fund, it will change the candidate's status and their registration may be revoked," he noted.
Zhylkybayev emphasized that campaigning rules forbid independent production of campaign materials without proper financial accounting.
