Bishkek, Nov. 30, 2025. /Kabar/. Tynchtyk Shainazarov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Kyrgyz Republic, voted today, at polling station No. 9134 in Bishkek's Sverdlovsk district. CEC Chairman used the remote voting option, as he is registered in Electoral District No. 8 in Osh Region.

Before the vote, the CEC Chairman demonstrated the voting procedure from start to finish. As noted, voters can vote by presenting one of three documents: an international passport, a domestic ID, or through the "Tunduk" app.

Tynchtyk Shainazarov verified his identity through the "Tunduk" app and cast his ballot. A ballot for his electoral district No. 8 was printed out for the Chairman, and he cast his vote for one of the candidates in his district. Overall, the procedure took less than a minute. The machine can serve up to 720 voters in 12 hours. If the ballot paper runs out, replacing it takes only 3-4 seconds. Chairman demonstrated the voting process himself, emphasizing that the automated voting system operates smoothly at all polling stations. However, some incidents due to human error are possible, but these are promptly resolved. He once again emphasized to voters that the ballot must not be folded before being dropped into the automated voting system.

International observers from several countries were working at the polling station where he voted. T. Shainazarov reported that 778 international observers from 58 countries have been accredited for this election.
