Bishkek, Nov. 25, 2025. /Kabar/. The chairmanship of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will pass from Kyrgyzstan to Russia in 2026, head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Sagynbek Abdumutalip said.
According to him, a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council will take place in Bishkek on Nov. 26–27.
The meeting will be attended by the heads of member states of the organization: President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
