Bishkek, Feb. 14, 2025. /Kabar/. Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Liu Jiangping told reporters in detail about the the state visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov to China, which took place on February 4 - 7.
During the briefing at the Chinese Embassy in Bishkek the ambassador said that following the visit, the countries signed 23 documents and agreed on many issues: infrastructure projects, agriculture, tourism, food security, science and new technologies.
Liu Jiangping named the state visit of President Zhaparov successful. She noted that within the framework of the state visit, negotiations were held between Sadyr Japarov and Xi Jinping. Following the negotiations, a joint statement was adopted on deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership.
Ambassador Jiangping said that during the visit, the heads of the two states reached a broad consensus on deepening comprehensive and mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as on international and regional issues of mutual interest. The two leaders also outlined a new plan for the development of Kyrgyz-Chinese relations.
The ambassador stressed that the two sides unanimously agreed to further deepen the China-Kyrgyzstan comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era, reaffirmed their commitment to building a community of shared future for China and Kyrgyzstan in the spirit of good-neighborliness, friendship and common prosperity. The two sides also reaffirmed their firm mutual support in matters concerning each other's interests and firmly oppose external interference in internal affairs and the application of double standards.
The ambassador also emphasized that this visit testifies the deep friendship between the peoples of the two countries, and also demonstrates the high level and uniqueness of Chinese-Kyrgyz relations of comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era.
