Bishkek, March 18, 2025. /Kabar /. As part of a working visit to the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR) of the People's Republic of China, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev held talks with the heads of a number of large Chinese companies in Urumqi.

The Cabinet of Ministers reported that during a meeting with China-Kyrgyz Kaiyuan Industrial Development (Xinjiang) Ltd., the progress of the project to build the international customs and logistics park "Golden Road Asia-Europe" in the Chui region was discussed.

Bakyt Torobaev noted that an appropriate plot of land will be allocated for the construction of the customs and logistics park, and after its commissioning, it should equally serve the interests of the export-import operations of the two countries. Let us recall that investments in the construction of the logistics park amount to 30 million dollars, the corresponding memorandum was signed last year at the VIII Issyk-Kul Economic Forum.

Also, the deputy head of the Cabinet held talks with the Quanyibao company, which is engaged in the production of agricultural drones and artificial precipitation technologies.

The parties discussed joint projects for the digitalization of agriculture. As a result of the negotiations, the company transferred to Kyrgyzstan, on a grant basis, agricultural equipment for artificial rainfall and the destruction of harmful insects worth more than 1 million 120 thousand dollars. In addition, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Kyrgyz Agroholding OJSC and the Quanyibao company.

Also, as part of a working visit to the XUAR, Bakyt Torobaev held meetings with the heads of six Chinese companies working in the fields of seed production, livestock farming and horticulture. He emphasized that the country has a favorable investment climate and invited the negotiators to take part in the agricultural forum, which will be held in Kyrgyzstan on April 3-4 this year.
