Bishkek, May 14, 2026. /Kabar/. On May 13, meeting of the heads of departments of the criminal bloc of CIS member states was held in Tashkent.

According to Ministry of Internal Affairs, the event was devoted to the issues of combating transnational crime and illicit drug trafficking.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oktyabr Urmambetov attended the meeting. Kyrgyz side provided information on current trends in the drug situation in the country, noting the growing threats associated with the spread of synthetic drugs, as well as the use of Internet platforms and cryptocurrencies in drug crimes.
