Bishkek, April 6, 2026. /Kabar/. On April 3, cultural cooperation issues were discussed in Moscow as part of the international economic forum dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the CIS, Ministry of Culture reports.
According to the ministry, delegation from Kyrgyzstan, led by First Deputy Chairman Daniyar Amangeldiev, participated in the forum.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy Askaraly Madaminov spoke at the plenary session entitled "Formation of a Sustainable Cultural Space in the CIS: Integration, Partnership, Creative Economy, and Cultural Heritage." In his address, he noted the progressive development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation within the CIS.
It is noted that the Ministry views culture as key factor in the spiritual development of society and pays special attention to the development of creative industries film, theater, music, digital art, and cultural tourism as well as the preservation of cultural heritage.
The forum emphasized the priority of strengthening cultural integration, implementing joint projects, and ensuring growth through the development of the creative economy.
Kyrgyzstan intends to continue actively developing cultural cooperation within the CIS.
