Bishkek, Dec. 1, 2025. /Kabar/. A flower-laying ceremony was held at the Victory Memorial in the capital as part of the visit of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly International Observer Mission, which arrived in Kyrgyzstan to monitor the snap parliamentary elections.
According to the municipality, Bishkek First Deputy Mayor Mirlanbek Baigonchokov attended the event. On behalf of the municipality, he welcomed the members of the CIS IPA delegation and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in developing democratic institutions, parliamentarism, and ensuring citizens' electoral rights.
The ceremony took place at the Victory Memorial, where the Mission representatives, deputies, and senators from CIS member states honored the memory of the heroes who fell during the Great Patriotic War.
The Bishkek Mayor's Office expresses its gratitude to the organizers for their assistance in strengthening international cooperation and maintaining traditions of respect for historical memory.
