Bishkek, Oct. 31, 2025 /Kabar/. Ak-Suu village in Leilek district of Batken region is provided with clean drinking water.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, this issue was raised by delegates at the III People's Kurultai, held in 2024. In order to solve the problem of providing the population with clean water, 1 million 800 thousand soms were allocated from the budget of Ak-Suu aiyl okmot to lay water pipes of 1 thousand 200 meters.
Currently, local residents are provided with drinking water. As noted in the department, for 2025 the ministry approved an action plan of 410 points, drawn up at the request of delegates of the Third People's Kurultai. Of these, 50 activities (12%) have been completed, 360 (88%) are under implementation, and there are no outstanding activities. The majority of requests concern issues of irrigation (60%) and provision of drinking water to the population (23%). It is noted that these strategically important areas are in the process of implementation.
