Bishkek, Aug 7, 2026 /Kabar/. The Osh regional office under the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing, and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan has uncovered violations during the construction of a small hydroelectric power plant on the Turuk River in Kichi-Alai, Aravan district.
The department reported that during inspections, it was discovered that construction work on the site was being carried out without registration in the State Unified Construction Register.
The department issued corresponding report against El Bat Energy Turuk LLC, the company constructing the plant, and imposed an administrative fine of 200,000 soms.
In addition, experts found noncompliance with building codes. As a result, a demolition order was issued.
The Department of State Architectural and Construction Supervision calls on legal entities and individuals to comply with Kyrgyz legislation, building codes, and technical regulations when carrying out construction work.
