Bishkek, March 23, 2026 /Kabar/. Construction of major infrastructure projects continues in Batken, according to Batken oblast administration.

According to information, Mamyrzhan Rakhimov and Jogorku Kenesh Deputy Ismanali Zhoroyev inspected the progress of construction at several major sites in Batken.

First, they inspected the construction of a modern 10,000-seat stadium in Batken. This stadium is expected to significantly contribute to the development of sports in the region and stimulate youth interest in sports.

Next, they visited the new municipal market under construction in the Chet-Bulak district. This project is being implemented to create modern conditions for residents, streamline trade, and improve sanitary conditions. This project had previously been noted as one of the important projects aimed at increasing economic activity in the region.

They also visited the Asman-1 residential complex, which is being built by the State Mortgage Company (SMC). This project is one of the largest programs providing affordable housing to the population. As previously reported, the buildings meet modern requirements and are aimed at creating comfortable conditions for residents.

Batken oblast governor Mamyrzhan Rakhimov noted the importance of timely and high-quality completion of construction, emphasizing that these projects will contribute to the socioeconomic development of the Batken region and play a significant role in improving the region's infrastructure.
