Construction of terminal and paving of the runway are currently underway. Completion of terminal is scheduled for the fall of 2026, and the airport is scheduled to open in 2027. This project will contribute to expanding the region's investment and tourism potential, as well as improving public transportation accessibility.
Meanwhile, construction of the Akylman Presidential Lyceum, designed for 400 students, continues at a rapid pace. The educational complex will be completed in the summer of 2026 and commissioned by the start of the new academic year. The lyceum will be equipped with a modern gym, swimming pool, student dormitory, and staff apartments, making it one of the country's leading educational centers.
Another major project is being implemented in healthcare. Construction of a specialized cardiovascular surgical hospital is currently 60% complete. The total cost of the medical facility is 3 billion soms, and its commissioning is scheduled for 2027. The hospital will be equipped with modern equipment and employ highly qualified specialists. As a result, the quality of medical services provided to the public will reach a new level.
