Bishkek, April 22, 2025. /Kabar/. A bilateral meeting between Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Mirbek Mambetaliev and Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Adil Gabil oglu Karimli took place on April 21 at the National History Museum of Kyrgyzstan.
The Culture Ministry reported that following the talks, the parties signed an official interdepartmental Plan of Practical Measures (roadmap) for the development of cultural cooperation for 2025-2026.
The document is aimed at implementing new joint initiatives and strengthening the long-term partnership between the two states.
During the talks, the ministers emphasized the common historical and spiritual values of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, which have become a solid foundation for the development of cultural and humanitarian dialogue. Mirbek Mambetaliev expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for the warm welcome during the Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan in Azerbaijan in 2024, noting their contribution to bringing peoples closer together.
The parties discussed significant projects of bilateral cultural exchange.
The Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Adil Gabil oglu Karimli is in Kyrgyzstan as part of the Days of Culture of this country currently taking place in our republic.
